We are Water will train library hosts starting in February 2022! We are excited to partner with libraries on STEAM programs about water.

At We are Water we celebrate the history of Indigenous communities in the Four Corners and their ties to water in the region. We have recorded stories from Indigenous communities in Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico that are ready for you to hear!  Visit our website to hear all the recordings.

We are on a Four Corners road trip for We are Water! We’re visiting the Blanding Public Library, Aztec Public Library and Pine River Public Library to see our friends and future sites for the traveling exhibit.

Our traveling exhibition will be touring in the Four Corners region 2022 and 2023. Come visit this free and engaging experience about water in the Southwest when it comes to a location near you.

March - April 25, 2022 : Lafayette Public Library, Lafayette, Colorado

We'll be posting the 2022-2023 tour schedule for the We are Water exhibition here. Come back to see which libraries and communities in the Four Corners will be hosting the exhibition and programs! We're so excited to get We are Water on the road to visit a community near you!

Our traveling exhibition for We are Water is coming! The first stop on the tour is Carbon Valley Regional Library in Firestone, Colorado. Our library partners will be hosting parts of the exhibition in August and September 2021. We’ll take this time to gather library patron feedback to make the exhibition and accompanying programs better before the exhibition travels to its next stop. Please check back for the release of the exhibition tour for 2022 and 2023.

On August 7, 2021 we hosted a water day celebration at Carbon Valley Regional Library. We had fun and games for kids and their families.

Come join the We are Water team and Water Education Colorado to learn about water in Colorado on September 16, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Carbon Valley Regional Library. This event will include screening of short Colorado-focused water films and a speaker panel. Speakers include Jeff Stahla, Public Information Officer with Northern Water and Noah Newman from CoCoRaHS.
