Stop-Motion Animation Workshop

Learn how to create a short (<1 minute) stop-motion animation of a story. This workshop is designed to be completed in two days or two sessions. Each portion is about 1.5 – 2 hours long.

From 4-6pm, join Navajo Nation Library and Navajo Nation Museum in Window Rock, Arizona for the We are Water Opening Day Celebration! 


Join the We are Water team and Western Water Associates to learn about water in New Mexico on June 14, 2022 at Aztec Public Library. This event will include screening of short New Mexico-focused water films and a speaker panel. Learn about the work it takes to bring water to the region and learn more about challenges around climate change and New Mexico’s water future.

May 6, 2022 from 10am - 1pm: Join Aztec Public Library for the We are Water Opening Day Celebration! Race your friends in an exciting water game. Play with water in a mini ecosystem. Create your own water story. Learn about water, animals, and plants from organizations based in your community. And check out the We are Water exhibition for the very first time!


The We are Water traveling exhibition will be at the Lafayette Public Library from March 7, 2022 to April 24, 2022.

The exhibition is free and available for all ages to enjoy! Come with your friends, family or enjoy it solo. 

Visit the library for information about events and materials you can pick up and take home.
