We are Water will join libraries across the Four Corners Region in a regional celebration of World Water Day throughout the month of March. World Water Day, held on 22 March every year since 1993, focuses on the importance of freshwater in our communities.

The regional celebration is part of the We are Water project, which partners with rural libraries in the Four Corners Region to create family-oriented educational resources that inspire conversations about regional and community water topics.

Community members can join the regional celebration by visiting a participating library and asking about activities available for youth and families.

If your library is not participating, you can still join the fun!
Be a part of the virtual book club about water in the Southwest and read Beyond the Hundredth Meridian by Wallace Stegner with us. Visit the We are Water Facebook page at
www.facebook.com/WeAreWaterSW to view videos about the book, and attend a conversation during a Facebook Live event on March 18, 2021 at 6:30 pm MT.
